Southrepps Young ArtistsThe 2014 Festival saw the inauguration of our Young Artists' Programme, and with the exception of 2019 the programme has run alongside the festival every year since.
Exceptional, promising young singers spend the week in Southrepps on an intensive course of individual coaching and group classes with artists from the festival as well as experts drawn from further afield. The artists take part in a public Masterclass at the beginning of the week, and perform in concerts and recitals during the festival. The Young Artists Scheme returns for the 2024 Festival. Southrepps at Long Common In addition to the young artist course running alongside the festival in Norfolk, 2023 saw the first special intensive weekend for young singers away from the main festival. Four exceptional young singers joined Ben Johnson and Tom Primrose for a weekend of intensive coaching in the beautiful environs of Long Common in Surrey. |
